Easy Jewellery Care

Our jewellery is crafted with high-quality materials, including Pure Gold, 925 Sterling Silver, and Gold Plated finishes. Each piece is designed to be water-resistant and durable, made to withstand light exposure to water, such as occasional handwashing or light rain. To ensure that your jewellery retains its beauty and lasts for years, we recommend the following care instructions:

1. Avoid Excessive Water Exposure

While our jewellery is designed to be water-resistant, it’s important to avoid prolonged exposure to water. Activities like swimming, showering, or submerging the jewellery can affect quality and lifespan. Light exposure, such as during handwashing or when caught in the rain, is fine, but we suggest removing your jewellery during any more extensive contact with water.

2. Protect from Chemicals and Extreme Temperatures

To preserve the integrity and appearance of your jewellery, avoid direct contact with chemicals like perfume, body lotion, alcohol, and household cleaning agents. Extreme temperatures can also impact the materials. We recommend storing your jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

3. Cleaning Your Jewellery

After wearing your jewellery, especially after exposure to water, gently clean it with a dry, soft cloth to remove any moisture, oils, or residues. This simple step will help maintain its shine and prevent tarnishing. For our gold-plated pieces, regular gentle cleaning will help preserve the finish.

4. Proper Storage

Store your jewellery in the airtight bag provided to prevent exposure to air and moisture, which can lead to tarnishing. Keeping your pieces separate from each other will also prevent scratches and damage.

5. Special Care for Earring Pins

Some of our earring pins are made from hypoallergenic 925 Sterling Silver. It is normal for these pins to be slightly bendable due to the nature of the material. Before wearing your earrings, you can clean the pins using the alcohol pad. This helps to ensure that the pins are clean and safe for your ears.

By following these care instructions, your Luneur jewellery will continue to shine and accompany you for a long time.
